Hello, my name is Uche Okolie and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist. I take a warm, compassionate approach to help you make real changes in your mindset and develop practical coping skills needed to live the life you want. My goal is to empower individuals with the tools to understand and cope with difficult experiences in their lives so they can move forward and lead fulfilling lives. 

Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), and Military communities are my passion and specialty, but my full circle, evidence-based approach is helpful in individual and group therapy for a wide-range of clients.

Online group therapy:

1. Intro to Dialectical Behavior Therapy Group: Tuesdays, 6:30-8:00 P.M. 

     This class will consist of 3 modules: Distress tolerance, Emotional Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness.

2. Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for people suffering from the effects of trauma: Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 P.M. 

     CPT helps you heal from traumatic events and reduce negative effects from trauma. 

3. Real-life Relaxation & Coping Skills: Thursdays, 6:30-8:00 P.M. 

     Increase your adaptability to stress by eliciting the relaxation response and other coping skills.
