Dr. Nancy Anderson is a primary care physician of Integrative Oriental Medicine/Acupuncture in the state of California and hold a national certification with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Combined with her degree in counseling psychology, and her over 25 years in private practice, she brings a unique approach to the diverse field of integrative medicine, merging methods and resources to maximize vital health for body, mind, and spirit.
Through treatment and education, Dr. Anderson’s passion is to inspire her clientele to take back their health; by resolving pain and suffering, as well as establishing prevention of dis-ease according to ancient laws of science. Her patients may learn to take more control over their health goals in concert with their own team of psychological and medical healthcare professionals.
Some of her specialties include: acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain/strain, allergies, arthritis, women’s healthcare, men’s healthcare concerns, headaches, EENT, “whole food as medicine”, facial rejuvenation (facelift) cosmetic and neuromuscular, and mental health concerns including stress, PTSD, ADHD, depression, anxiety, substance behavioral addictions, and more.
For over 10 years Dr. Anderson had the privilege of practicing at Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine in La Jolla, California with the award winning, holistic cardiologist and founder, Dr. Mimi Guarneri, and the Director of Integrative Pain Management, Robert A. Bonakdar, M.D.
