Jordan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California specializing in individuals, groups, families, and couples and works from a strengths based and solution focused perspective. Jordan utilizes a unique approach to every client based on current needs by using a number of modalities including psychotherapy, cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, lifestyle modification, integration of physical and mental health, mindfulness based stress reduction, and trauma informed care. Jordan employs an integrative approach by merging evidenced based practices with a warm, validating, and dynamic environment. She strives to provide empathy, understanding, and tools to clients in order to work collaboratively toward treatment goals.
Jordan works with adolescents, young adults, and adults facing mood disorders, eating disorders, life transitions, trauma, relationship issues, substance use, work life balance conflict, adjustment difficulties, grief, PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, stress management, and self esteem issues.
Jordan graduated from Baylor University in Clinical Social Work, with a specialization in physical and mental health. She has experiencing working in a number of residential settings, including facilities addressing substance use, eating disorders, and mental health. Jordan spent 4 years working directly with eating disorders and occurring disorders (mood disorders, trauma, substance use, personality disorders, etc) at the residential and PHP/IOP levels of care. She also currently works with adolescent with mental health and substance use issues at a local PHP/IOP facility.
